What is DEADBOOT?
What is deadboot? what is the cause of deadboot? What will be the solution to fix the deadboot handsets? What will be the status if you say that the handset is in a deadboot state?
Deadboot is when the Android handset can’t be powered on, can’t be put into download mode, or some Android handsets stuck on download mode and is considered as deadboot. Deadboot means the boot area of the Android handset was damaged and when you connect it on PC, it can’t be detected. This is due to wrong flashing, battery drained while updating, PC hangs and not be able to continue its flashing, or sudden death of the handset.
To fix this Deadboot, we must use JTAG Service box to write its boot file. The so called “ressurect” is the term use in writing boot file. After ressurecting, the phone can be detected again by PC, and can put into download mode.

Dead boot issues happen when the device won’t power on or cannot be detected by a computer when connected.
Some of the buyers have been advised to file their complaints to the Department of Trade and Industry. Although, Rep. Nograles said that it’s better if the tech company handles the issue squarely by recalling the problematic models.

“We need to stop this unending inconvenience; it is about time they recall these problematic phone models and give the victims newer phone units that do not have issues.”

The lawmaker is pushing for a recall as users who may not be experiencing the problems now may have it in the future — at the time where the unit is already past the warranty period.
Nograles added that “We know that Xiaomi’s rise to fame is due to their brand of selling quality phones for low prices. Sadly, their reputation is tarnished with this dead boot issue. They should act fast as they are not the sole brand that offers affordable phones. They might lose their market share if this issue persists.”
